WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER OF MISSISSIPPI
In 2023, our CEO Ossiea Lake founded the We Are Better Together of MS, a 501 c(3) non-profit organization founded to encourage entrepreneurship, build self-esteem, independence and the love of charity among young girls, women and business professionals. Through its programs, the foundation strives to create entrepreneurs one little girl at a time and support other organizations that educate and enrich the lives of girls. Assured Connections Insurance Group is in partnership with the We Are Better Together of MS ensures that underserved girls receive quality entrepreneurship and character education programs as well as access to successful CEO women mentors. Our commitment to girls and women entrepreneurs is deeply ingrained in our culture. From internships to empowering women and young girls through financial and wealth literacy, Assured Connections Insurance Group believes in service to its community above all.
SMALL BUSINESS & COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Assured Connections Insurance Group believes in service that directly impacts our community. Our team members are encouraged to be servant leaders and are even paid to volunteer each year. Assured Connections began the "Forgotten Angels Program" to help all children receive gifts under the tree every year for Christmas. We also understand that small businesses are the heart and soul of our communities, and we strive to provide them with the risk management education and insurance protection they need to continue to grow and thrive. Assured Connections Insurance Group, provides frequent community workshops, seminars and community events that provides education and also encourages peer to peer business networking.

Having a sound foundation of not only insurance or other education, but also genuine leadership, is vital in growing as a respected professional in any industry. Our formal internship program is available to college students for credit, recent graduates or newly licensed or prospective insurance agents.
